Level 1 — Basic Prompting

Use this simple formula:

Weak prompt:

Write email.

Better prompt:

Write a polite email to a supplier about delayed delivery. Keep it short, professional, and include a request for updated delivery date.

Level 2 — Office Prompting

Use AI for daily office work: email, meeting notes, reports, Excel, Power BI, supplier comparison, and short report summarys.

Example prompt:

Summarize this small shop stock report into 3 executive bullet points. Focus on inventory movement, aging stock, and actions needed this week.

Level 3 — Creative Prompting

For image, video, Facebook posts, product descriptions, captions, and scripts, use this structure:

Example image prompt:

Create a friendly robot mascot for a kids coding website. Use colorful 3D cartoon style, soft blue and purple background, cheerful mood, and clean modern design.

Level 4 — Advanced Prompting

Advanced prompting helps you get more structured and useful answers.

Role prompting: Act as a small shop operations manager.
Step-by-step: Explain the process step by step.
Few-shot examples: Show one example, then ask AI to follow the same style.
Table output: Compare options in a table.
Challenge my idea: Ask AI to find risks and weak points.
Fact-checking: Ask what may be uncertain or needs verification.

Act as a small shop operations manager. Compare these two supplier quotations in a table with cost, risk, service quality, missing items, and final recommendation.

Level 5 — Real-World Prompt Practice

Better prompt:

Make a small shop stock report about today’s receiving activity.

Best prompt:

Create a short executive small shop stock report for today’s 6 delivery receiving activity. Include unloading safety, storage arrangement, material segregation, photo captions, risks, and next actions. Use a professional email-ready format.
